Nordstrom remains one of my all-time favorite stores. They have a nice layout that's conducive to personal styling, a wide range of products, and many reasonably priced options. Fashion Valley's Nordstrom is my favorite. I am also happy to stop by UTC and Escondido, if I'm working in those areas.
As serious shoppers know, Nordstrom sales are MAJOR. And it's that time of year--Memorial Day is around the corner and Nordstrom would like some of your money. This year's sale selections will not disappoint. I've chosen a few of my favorites below. The sale selection can be overwhelming, so I've chosen my top nine picks. Happy shopping!
I'm always on the hunt for fabulous, stylish flats. These Marc Fisher beauties are perfect for pairing with your summer work wear, lighter jeans, and structured dresses.
Sam Edelman's pointy-toe d'Orsay pump is a gorgeous option to punctuate any look. I personally love the bright havana red (pictured) and the gold leather options. The red would pair well with summer dresses and neutral outfits. The gold option would be a great evening shoe.
Like flats, I'm always looking for stylish and comfortable wedges. Sofft is a brand well known for their comfort. These metallic wedges are not quite silver or gold, which gives you more accessorizing options. These pair well with white jeans and flowy summer dresses.
How gorgeous is this pink Rebecca Minkoff bag? It's actually a laptop bag which means it's a great size. It's under $100!
This Marc Marc Jacobs Crossbody is an unexpected delight. I'm constantly singing the praises of non-black handbags like this one. This green will go so well with so many garments.
This fantastically neutral backpack by Rag & Bone will set you free. I love recommending stylish backpacks like this one to clients who like to carry a lot of equipment for work or who prefer riding bikes as a mode of transportation. I really like this version because it is so professional-looking, like a structured satchel. It won't make your work ensemble appear too casual.
Looking for a gorgeous maxi dress that makes you feel as if you're vacationing in St. Barts? This dramatic and comfortable dress is great for lazy summer days or even a wedding, if you accessorize it correctly.
On the other end of the spectrum, when you're looking for work wear, BOSS by Hugo Boss cannot be beat. Now is your chance to snatch up this C-Level look for under $400.
Now, here is a dress that can be dressed up or down. Wear it to work. Wear it on a date. Wear it to a child's birthday party. Wear it running errands. It's a great example of double-duty style. I love this Fit & Flare dress by Vince Camuto. As a bonus, it's the beautiful shade of blue that looks amazing on nearly every skin-tone, with a super-flattering cut.
